CST UP Engineering Students Project Grant Scheme
Council of Science & Technology, U.P. conducts “CSTUP Engineering Students Project Grant Scheme” ( सीएसटी यू.पी. आभियांत्रिकी विद्यार्थी प्रोजेक्ट अनुदान योजना ) for the IV year (Final Year) B.E./B.Tech Students with the Objectives as follows:-
Utilization of technology for local problems.
Promotion of useful technology/Projects for society.
Exposure to the skills of engineering students.
Prevention from repetition of previous projects and promotion of innovative projects.
The CSTUP will provide financial support of Rs. 20,000/- per project for Final Year B.E./B.Tech Students. Applications through the head of the institution are invited under this scheme. The projects may be developed either by a student or a group of a maximum of four students. A maximum of 60 projects will be selected for financial support under “CSTUP Engineering Students Project Grant Scheme”. Innovative projects that can solve the problem for society will be considered on priority. It is also to mention that out of the selected projects. best 03 innovative projects will be awarded with First, Second & Third Prizes of Rs.1,00,000/-, Rs75,000/- & Rs50,000/-, respectively. To encourage the publication of research papers derived from project work (either during the project or within six months after its completion) in esteemed journals indexed in Scopus, SCI, IEEE, or PubMed, each student author will receive a reward of Rs. 5,000/-. However, the incentive is capped at a maximum of Rs. 20,000/-, and each student may receive the incentive for a maximum of one paper.
