Indira Gandhi Planetarium was started for public on 8th May 2003. It is a beautiful building in unique Saturn shape with five rings. It is especially designed to give an idea of crater formation of celestial bodies. It has an exhibit gallery on ground floor with models and displays based on Indian space programme and astronomy.
The Veer Bahadur Singh Planetarium is being run by CST U.P. since 21st December, 2009. It serves as a learning centre for children in the city.
Planetarium is operated for public from 18th September, 2012.
